VISA Documents

Well, today I went to the vfs center at Bhulabhai desai rd. to submit the VISA Documents...
Left from mulund at 10.40 am , thanx to punctuality of Harsh (had earlier decided to leave by 10).....After submitting the docs we had a plan to watch Superman at INOX, but the form submission got delayed ( again thanx to Harsh's mistakes in filling th Ds-158 forms) ...He had to go to a near by cyber cafe and make the necessary additions (Aaaj kal bacche log apne maa- baap ko bhool jaate hain ) was the dialog he had to listen frm the owner of the cyber cafe as Harsh had forgotten to fill those in the form ....
Was not a good start to the day for Harsh ...
After submitting the docs, went to New Yorkers for lunch and then went to STIC Travels , 6 Maker Chambers for getting an ISIC card.....
The card was issued in 10 mins and then we headed back to home....Had a sundae at Right Place on the way back....

Thats it....

They say , the handwriting shows your mindset.....and told me to change the way I write certain letters for my betterment.....

Well, dont know when I will get a chance to write on a paper.....as all my assignments and exams are over .....

Anyways, will conciously try to change the way I write those letters.....

Bowling at Fun Gaming....

Well, today, after a long time, the dhokla group met and went to Fun Republic for Bowling...

Well , I started off quite well but my strig or spare's was ruined by my friend when he played for my chance....
I was very angry at him as I wanted to go for the maximum score...
But as my mood was spoilt, my performance in the remaining part of the game deteriorated....
Finally I scored a meager 126 (very disappointed with my score..)
Neways, I think this was the last outing withthe dhokla group for Bowling, and would probably play directly in US.....

Thats it for 2day.....

Next race - Indianapolis , LIVE at Aura (Hiranandani)

Well, Just planning to watch the US Grand Prix with friends at Aura ,sports bar at Hiranandani, Powai....
Hope to watch a good show from McLaren (both drivers), They were surely more competitive at Canada and hope they carry the same form to Indianapolis....

Though not sick of watching F1 races alone , want to experience the thrill and excitement of watching the race with die-hard fans of F1, rather than my family, who always ask me that
"How do you like watching the cars go round and round on the same track.....?? "

Hope the plan materializes .......

Wipro Medical Checkup

Today, I had gone for the Wipro Medical checkup at
NPIL Laboratories,
Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Off Worli Naka, Lower Parel,
Mumbai...

I know the address perfectly as we wasted about 30 mins to search for the place asking all the taxi drivers on the way...

The Laboratory was systematic and very well organized ....We were guided through all the tests and everythig got over very quickly....

They also performed an ECG (Electronic Cardiogram),which I experienced it for the first time.....They put some cream and then 4wires around the chest to monitor the heartbeats ...

Was very hungry when we left the Lab, and then went to Matunga , where we ate at Chinaman, near Ruia college...and also Juice (dont remember the name of juicewala)...

Thats it for today....

CANADA Could Have been Better

Hello guys,
Well My prediction before the race was :
1. Alonso
2. Kimi
3. Fisichella / Michael

This was almost same until the secon last lap, where Kimi made a mistake....
And also JPM was ahead of MSC in the initial stages of the race and could have finished on the Podium had he not collided with Nico Rosberg....
But I am not too sad about the result , as I can see that McLaren have the competitiveness to win races which was not during the early season....
With such a strong car, Indianapolis would be great to watch....

Below are the comments from McLaren Drivers and Ron Dennis....

2006 Canadian Grand Prix Qualifying

2006 Canadian Grand Prix Qualifying: "Montreal, Saturday 24th June 2006

Juan Pablo Montoya MP4-21 05

CANADIAN GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING

Team McLaren Mercedes drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya will start tomorrow's Canadian Grand Prix from third and seventh positions respectively. Kimi set a fastest lap time of 1:15.386 in the third part of qualifying whilst Juan Pablo's time was 1:16.228.

KIMI RAIKKONEN
'As the last couple of races have shown we are obviously going in the right direction with the car and I'm pleased to have qualified in third. The car felt fantastic this morning during practice, but we had to make some minor changes bearing the race in mind and I wasn't as comfortable during qualifying and was sliding a lot more. As a result third is very good and I'm confident that we should be able to leave Montreal with a strong result.'

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA
'The first two parts of qualifying were very good for me. However I pushed a little bit too hard in the last run and made a mistake at the chicane which cost me a lot of time – I think without this I probably would have been on the second row with Kimi. This is quite frustrating as overall my car was pretty good today. Anyway I'm relaxed and I will look at my options and see what happens to put myself in the best position during the race.'

RON DENNIS
'Our weekend so far has unfolded pretty much as expected. Slowly but surely the competitiveness of the team is improving. Whilst Juan Pablo's grid position could have been a little better, our race strategy should contribute to a strong result for both cars.'

NORBERT HAUG
'Our competitiveness looked a little better in the Free Practice sessions and after grid positi"

I would recommend everyone to go for atleast 30 mins in a garden nearby.....
Also after around 10 rounds of jogging (actually I dont jog but run), sat for a while peacefully and performed YOGA (which is strongly recommended by my MOM).....

In the party , I met this girl who was very very cute and also taught her how to dance...
Before you think of anything else, let me clear that she was 1 yr old kid.....
After the party , I was sooo tired that I once again wished that I stayed somewhere in the Western suburbs or the town side in order to avoid travelling alone all the way back to Mulund ...

Neways , hope this is only for a month or so....
Getting VISA has been a cakewalk for my friends and I hope it is same with me...

Trip to GOA

After 4th Semester Exams, we 4 guys (Kunal, Yuvaraj, Dhruv and I) decided to enjoy our vacation in GOA. It was rainy season and Kunal and Yuvaraj were strictly against the plan, but somehow Dhruv and I managed to persuade them to come for the trip.

24th June 2004: Departure from Vile Parle (W), Mumbai at around 10pm by Volvo Bus, semi-sleeper (slumber) @ cost of Rs. 500/- .

25th June 2004: Reached GOA at around 11am. After analyzing 3-4 hotels, decided to stay at De Braganza Resorts, 2 minutes from Calangute Beach. We were not lucky to get clear weather and it was raining cats and dogs the entire day. We had lunch at The Plaintain Leaf (a veg restaurant), accompanied with a Bacardi Breezer Wild Berry (a controversial drink in the group). After lunch we went to Calangute Beach where we could see only a few tourists. After spending almost an hour at the beach, as the weather was clear, we decided to hire bikes (read kinetic) but as only I had a license, after a heated discussion dropped the idea. We had dinner at Mirabai’s Restaurant, where we tried some Goan food. While returning to the Hotel, we bought Kaju Fenny (2 bottles of 180 ml each) and Sprite. Started drinking and completed the drink in about 2hrs. Kunal was clearly in his senses but was acting as if he didn’t have a clue about what he was talking. Now after the drink we all started fighting for the bed. After 30 mins of fighting, we settled.

26th June 2004: Everyone woke up at around 11 am and left the Hotel by 1 pm. Finally as the weather was clear, we hired two kinetic and had lunch at Infantaria. After lunch, we kick started our journey of GOA hoping that weather remains clear. Except me none had driven a bike before. Kunal and I were driving the two kinetic with Yuvaraj and Dhruv sitting behind respectively. Kunal fumbled at one turn and drove the kinetic through mud, thus coating the tires with slippery mud. I warned him after that incident to drive carefully. I was leading after sometime asked Dhruv to look back and confirm whether the other kinetic is following. As there was no sign of them, we decided to wait for a while and in the meantime a car halted and told us that some guys had met with an accident. So I drove back to see both of them (Kunal and Yuvaraj) totally bruised and limping. Kunal couldn’t bear the bruises and became unconscious. One kind gentleman who was passing by on his bike came to our rescue. He knew a Hospital (ASILO Hospital) in Mapusa city which was 10km away from the accident spot. That drive to the hospital seemed to be the longest drive in our lives with Yuvaraj writhing in pain sitting behind me. At the hospital both of them received immediate treatment and we clicked some snaps at the hospital. As it was a government hospital, they were treated for free. We sent Kunal and Yuvaraj to the Hotel while Dhruv and I went to the accident spot to get another kinetic. To addition to our problems, the bike wouldn’t start, so Dhruv had to fetch a mechanic. After about an hour, the kinetic was repaired and we headed towards the hotel. We had not seen even one tourist place in GOA so on the way back, Dhruv and I decided to visit Fort Aguada which was approximately 10-11 km from the hotel. Dhruv, who was driving a two wheeler first time in his life, had no inhibitions and was driving like crazy; it was difficult to overtake him. Driving fast is injurious to health; Dhruv also skidded off and fell flat, face down on the road. To my relief, he was not injured. Fort Aguada was a beautiful place. We went back to the hotel, packed our bags and left for Mumbai.

A trip in which Luck didn’t seem to be with us…..
Anyways stop crying and let’s plan for another picnic…

2006 British Grand Prix Qualifying

2006 British Grand Prix Qualifying: "KIMI RAIKKONEN
'I'm really pleased being on the first row particularly at Silverstone where a lot of the guys from Woking and Brixworth are able to come and support us. The car was working well and in a way I'm a bit disappointed not to be on pole as we were so close. My final run was a bit tight – I think there were only a few seconds left – but we made it and were able to achieve second which is super. We made a lot of progress from yesterday, and I was really able to push. Now I look forward to the race tomorrow where we will do everything to do well. A win is possible, but so much can happen, but I'm really pleased with today's result and look forward to tomorrow.'

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA
'I have not been able to get the right balance throughout the weekend and was struggling during qualifying today. I should be higher up the grid than eighth, and I'm disappointed with this. However there is a long race tomorrow, and as we have seen before anything can happen.'

RON DENNIS
'A great lap from Kimi to earn him and the whole team a well deserved front row position. Juan Pablo struggled a little with the balance of his car but will start the race knowing he has a good chance to get a strong result. Generally we struggled a little to get the best out of the tyres in the first sectio"
